UX SLO Fest 24h Design Challenge
The Recipe Road app was designed for the Designation competition, held during the 2nd week of the UX SLO Fest, a Product Design conference at Cal Poly SLO. During this challenge, a group of 3-5 students have 24 hours to brainstorm, research, design, and prototype an app or website to a specific prompt, and then present it to a judge panel of UX industry professionals.
This project received recognition as one of the Top 6 Design out of all the 23 participating teams.
2022 Competition Prompt
"Your challenge is to create a mobile or web prototype that aims to address food insecurity, health + dietary considerations, and/or culinary exploration. In addition, your app/website must incorporate an AI-driven feature (eg. Pinterest uses AI to populate your dashboard with recommended pins, Spotify creates AI-generated playlists based on your listening activity)."
